This is a funny little place but the food is delicious!

The tippy steak sandwich is amazing a must try.

So sad they retired and are now permanetly closed. Can not get used to going to camp and not going for Wings and Scampy 😪😟😢

Food was good! the wings. Their tippy special is yummy, but little seasoning will do magic. Staff was very humble and nice. After a long camping trip at minister creek, it was worth the visit with all of our backpacking buddies.If few more restrooms can be added, it will be really good.

A little smoky but food good

I ordered two Tippy Steaks and I was so disappointed with what they think is acceptable to serve to a customer. The cheese was clearly contaminated with mold and the bread tasted at least two weeks old. I would not suggest wasting a penny at this pathetic excuse for a small town restaurant.

Would like to give The Tippy a 5 star rating. If they could keep the cigarette smoke out of the dining area. It’s awful. Staff is awesome and clean. But the smoke 😡they might as well just open the doors to the bar. We will go back on occasions to see if it’s better for years. No luck yet.🤷🏼‍♂️

Wonderful friendly service. The chili was very delicious especially after hanging out in the woods all morning. Coffee was great too!

There are other restraunts in this small town but this is the place to go if you have a family. Food there is decent depending on what you get. Saff are nor only friendly they talk to you and make jokes often. It is really small though, but you can carry it out though. Great place to dine.

A very nice local place. Clean and very "homey", a great place for Hunters and Sportsmen to grab an inexpensive, yet full portioned and well cooked meal. Excellent friendly service. Seasonal hours, Thurs.-Sunday only during the late fall and winter. Open 7 days in warm weather.

Close to the river. Cajun fish and rib eye wee excellent. Waitresses/cooks were very friendly. Cabin style atmosphere and some nice buck mounts set the tone. Highly recommend!

I'm a huge fan of middle of nowhere dive bars and this one fits the bill. It's a great little place next to my cousins camp so it's a given that when I go there, a stop at the Tippy Canoe is going to happen. My cousin and his family have been going there for years now and know everyone there. The bartender is awesome. The food is better than what you'd expect from a little hole in the wall like this. Cheap beers. Good food. Great service.

Smokey but a good bar and good food

Food was good but service was really slow. It's one of the only food establishments in the area and I think they've become a bit lazy with their service. Food selection is rather limited, but good.

Nice little dive bar. Always enjoy stopping when going thru on the bike.

Stopped by on my way back to Pittsburgh after New Years and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The owner was an elderly man named Frank and he was being way too friendly to my daughter who's only 16 and even once I asked him nicely to please let us eat in peace without him making sexual advances basically he demanded we pay and kicked us out before we got anything but appetizers! God bless you sick man.

$2.50 drinks, great staff and service, clean and fantastic food. What more could you want? We will be back!
